It WAS quite sudden. Interview to job offer time was 1 hour, and they needed to know within a day or two, so it was very sudden.
AND exciting!
p.s. Whenever I hear "this is all so sudden" I think of The Little Mermaid (Disney) when Ariel is talking to Eric's statue. If you haven't seen it, that reference won't make much sense.
